Ross Stewart is set for a frustrating spell on the sidelines, with Swansea City expecting the Scotland striker to miss their next four games because of a quad injury.
The 30-year-old sat out Tuesday’s Championship win over Watford, having already missed last Saturday’s victory at Derby County. His Swansea career has barely begun and has already been put on pause.
Since signing a three-year deal last month, Stewart has managed just one outing in a Swans shirt – a brief substitute appearance in the goalless draw with Sheffield United 11 days ago. That cameo now stands as his only action as the club move into a busy and testing run.
