Penybont Secures Narrow Win Over Colwyn Bay to Maintain Unbeaten Start

Penybont dug in to protect their unbeaten start to the Cymru Premier season, edging past Colwyn Bay 1-0 to climb into sixth place.

What should have been a routine home outing turned chaotic inside 20 minutes. Summer signings Jonathan Leko and Ryan Hill both limped off early, ripping up Rhys Griffiths’ game plan before it had really settled. The atmosphere dipped. So did the tempo. Penybont suddenly looked short of ideas and short of luck.
