Jordan Graham in Hospital After Serious Accident

Former Birmingham City winger Jordan Graham is in hospital receiving specialist treatment after what has been described as a serious road traffic accident.

The 31-year-old’s condition was confirmed in a statement released by the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) on behalf of his family, following the incident earlier this month. No further medical details have been made public, but the tone of the message underlined the gravity of what happened.

Graham’s family, the PFA said, are “incredibly grateful” for the care he is currently receiving. They have asked for privacy and requested that people do not contact them directly while they “focus entirely on Jordan and his recovery”. Any updates, they stressed, will only be shared “when appropriate”.

Graham came through the academy at Aston Villa before making his way across the Midlands to Wolves, where he made 17 first-team appearances and showed flashes of the wing play that would become his trademark. Loan spells followed at Ipswich Town, Bradford City, Oxford United and Fulham as he searched for regular football and a platform to build a career.

That platform arrived at Birmingham City. Between 2021 and 2023 he featured 49 times in the Championship, offering energy and width on the flanks after signing from Gillingham. Across all competitions and clubs, he has made 188 senior appearances, his most recent coming with Leyton Orient before his departure in 2025.

As news of the accident spread, former clubs moved quickly to show support.

Gillingham said in a statement: “Everyone at the club is thinking of Jordan and his family at this time. We wish him a full and swift recovery.”

Leyton Orient added a simple, heartfelt message of solidarity: “We’re all with you JG.”
