Guimaraes to anchor a reshaped midfield
Arsenal are expected to manage Saka, Rice and Zubimendi’s minutes carefully, which opens the door for Guimaraes to take centre stage from the start.

At the back, Arteta’s options remain limited.

Havertz trusted for the big stage
Through the middle, Kai Havertz is again expected to lead the line. Arteta has consistently turned to the German in Arsenal’s biggest games, trusting his movement, pressing and link play in high-intensity fixtures.
With Saka likely to feature from the right, even if not for 90 minutes, and Odegaard pulling strings in the No10 role, Arsenal’s attacking structure should look familiar, with Guimaraes the new piece around which much of the intrigue will swirl.
