Zinedine Zidane and adidas Celebrate 30 Years with Limited Edition Predator Boots
To mark 30 years of partnership, adidas and Zinedine Zidane have unveiled a unique edition of the Predator football boot. This release honors the legendary relationship between one of football’s most iconic players and the famed boot line.
Zidane’s connection with the Predator boots runs deep, spanning from his 1998 FIFA World Cup victory in France to his memorable golden boots in the 2006 tournament. Over three decades, he has become synonymous with this silhouette both on and off the field.
Design and Features of the ZZ30 Edition
The boots sport a sleek white and metallic gold color scheme that reflects Zidane’s elegant style of play. On the side, subtle blue, white, and red touches pay tribute to his triumphs with the French national team.
One standout detail is the classic fold-over tongue, which displays Zidane’s personal gold logo inspired by his famous volley goal for Real Madrid during the 2002 UEFA Champions League Final.
Each boot tells a story through personalized elastic straps. The right boot highlights cities key to Zidane’s career—Cannes, Bordeaux, Turin, and Madrid—while the left pays homage to his origins in La Castellane, Saint Henri, and Septèmes.
Additional premium elements include lenticular Three Stripes that shift between the adidas emblem and "ZZ" initials, as well as a bespoke ZZ30 badge commemorating three decades of collaboration.
