Women’s Super League 2026/27 Transfer Windows Dates Announced

The Women’s Super League has drawn its lines in the sand for another frantic year of recruitment, confirming the dates for the 2026/27 summer and winter transfer windows.

The summer market will spark into life on Tuesday, June 16, with clubs given a crucial stretch to reshape squads and settle contracts before the new campaign. Business can be done right up to 11pm (UK time) on Thursday, September 3, when the window slams shut and plans either look inspired or incomplete.

Then comes the reset.

The winter window opens on Monday, January 4, 2027, a mid-season lifeline for managers looking for reinforcements, cover for injuries, or that one player to tilt a title race. Deals can be pushed over the line until 11pm on Thursday, February 4, when the second and final chance to trade closes.

Recent history shows how decisive these windows can be. Last summer’s dealings brought in Chloe Kelly, Taylor Hinds, Anneke Borbe, and Olivia Smith, a cluster of signings aimed at adding depth and quality across the pitch. January then delivered Smilla Holmberg and a loan move for Barbora Votikova, proof that the mid-season market still shapes campaigns in a meaningful way.

The dates are set. Now the question is simple: who will use them best?
