Shubman Gill's Captaincy Record Across Tests, ODIs, T20Is, and IPL

His rise to captaincy in Tests came in 2025, following the retirements of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli from the format. Since then, he's led India through some notable series, including a drawn five-match Test series in England and wins against West Indies, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka.
Gill also captains the Gujarat Titans in the IPL, having taken over in the 2024 season. Under his leadership, the team reached the playoffs in both 2025 and 2026.
