Since joining from Stuttgart in 2024, Guirassy has been a consistent presence in Dortmund's European campaigns. He ranks second in the club's all-time Champions League scoring list, just behind Marco Reus, who has 24 goals. Reflecting on the match and his accidental own goal, Guirassy commented, "It was a strange game tonight - a crazy game. We could have done better, but we're happy with the win."

With this win, Dortmund focus shifts back to the Bundesliga as they prepare to host Paderborn at Signal Iduna Park.
