Santos to Partner with Adidas for Kits Starting 2028, Ending Umbro Era
Santos Futebol Clube has secured a long-term agreement with Adidas, ending their current kit manufacturing relationship with Umbro after the 2027 season. This change will take effect from the 2028 season and marks a significant commercial shift for the Brazilian club.
Contract Details and Commercial Impact
The deal was officially confirmed by Adidas in a statement released on Thursday evening. According to the announcement, this will be the third time Adidas supplies kits to Santos, symbolizing a reunion between the two. The new partnership is expected to boost Santos' global retail presence and increase commercial revenue substantially.
Expanding Adidas’ Presence in Brazil’s Top League
With Santos joining the fold, Adidas now supports several major clubs in the Brasileirão Serie A, including Flamengo, Cruzeiro, and Internacional. The partnership covers not only official matchday kits but also extensive lifestyle and training apparel ranges. Santos remains a high-profile club worldwide, thanks in part to legends like Pelé and current stars such as Neymar and Philippe Coutinho.

Head coach Cuca’s squad faces a tough sequence of fixtures, beginning with an away game against São Paulo on October 2, followed by a home match versus Flamengo on October 8, and concluding with an away fixture at Atlético Mineiro on October 11.
