Paris Saint-Germain Target Ajax Winger Mika Godts After Akliouche Signing
Paris Saint-Germain are wasting no time reshaping their attack. Days after closing a 50-million-euro deal for Norwegian forward Magnus Akliouche, the French champions have opened official talks with Ajax over highly rated winger Mika Godts.
The 21-year-old Belgian has exploded this season: 17 goals and 15 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions. Numbers that travel. Numbers that get you noticed in Paris.
Campos moves directly for Godts
According to Italian transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, PSG’s hierarchy have made contact with Ajax and negotiations are underway over a transfer. But the Paris club did not stop at club-to-club talks.

The PSG sporting advisor held what have been described as “very fruitful” discussions with Godts, outlining the project in Paris and where the young winger would fit into it. The conversation hit the mark. Godts, impressed by the plan presented to him, made clear his desire to join PSG.
That stance hands Paris a crucial advantage. When the player openly wants the move, the dynamic of any negotiation shifts.
Ajax cornered by player’s ambition
Ajax had hoped to keep hold of one of their brightest prospects. They now find themselves dealing with a familiar modern problem: a young talent convinced his future lies elsewhere.
The Dutch club know Godts is pushing for a transfer to the French capital. That knowledge leaves Ajax in an awkward position, balancing the need to protect their valuation with the risk of holding onto a player whose mind is already in Paris.
If the two clubs can find common ground, PSG could move quickly. Godts would arrive as another fresh attacking option in a squad still in transition, and his signing would carry extra weight given the uncertainty around Bradley Barcola’s future.
