Lyonnes have made their statement. Spain international Salma Paralluelo has signed a four-year deal through to 2030, walking into France as a free agent and straight into the heart of a project built to rule Europe.
Barcelona could not keep her. Contract talks collapsed in June, and with them went one of the most devastating forwards in the women’s game.
