Mikey Moore Joins FC Koln on Season-Long Loan from Tottenham After Strong Rangers Run
Mikey Moore, the Tottenham Hotspur winger, has secured a season-long loan move to Bundesliga club FC Koln after an impressive stint at Rangers last season. The 19-year-old English winger made a notable impact in Scotland, scoring seven goals and assisting four times, which has paved the way for his new challenge in Germany for the 2026-27 season.

Moore officially joined Koln on loan from Tottenham following his successful 2025-26 campaign with Rangers. During his time there, he featured in 47 matches and earned the Young Player of the Year award. Having already appeared 21 times at senior level for Spurs, Moore aims to secure regular first-team action in the Bundesliga.

Thomas Kessler, sporting director at Koln, expressed excitement about the signing in a club statement:

The winger admitted that Koln’s strong interest and attacking style convinced him during negotiations:
"The club showed great interest right from the start. The talks with management went really well; the chance to play in the Bundesliga and the way the club wants to play made my choice easy."
He also spoke about his ambition to contribute immediately:
"The team has started well. I watched both cup matches and the Hoffenheim game. I'm happy to be here now and want to help by scoring goals and providing assists so we can maintain this good form all season."
Debut Awaits Against Stuttgart
The 19-year-old is set for a quick debut when Koln face VfB Stuttgart on Friday. The team, coached by Rene Wagner, comes into the match buoyed by wins in the DFB-Pokal against Wurzburger Kickers (2-1) and a 3-2 league victory over Hoffenheim. Alongside English teammates Reigan Heskey and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey, Moore looks to strengthen an attack that has started the season strongly.
