Michael Olise Accused of Abandoning Daughter After DNA Test
Michael Olise, the Bayern Munich and France forward fresh from a standout World Cup, is facing serious off‑field allegations from Germany, where a 34-year-old woman claims he has abandoned their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter despite a DNA test confirming he is the father.
The woman, Fatima Zaunbrecher, has gone public with her story, posting a series of videos on Instagram under the handle @fati.zahara. In them, she alleges that Olise has formally acknowledged paternity of little Aaliyah Noor Olise, but has never met the child and has not, she says, provided voluntary financial support.
Zaunbrecher says the pair were in a relationship from 2022, a spell she describes as lasting around two years. According to her account, the relationship ended shortly before she discovered she was pregnant. A subsequent DNA test, she claims, confirmed Olise as Aaliyah’s father.
What followed, in her telling, has been silence.
She says she has tried to open a channel through lawyers, including an initial proposal for €2,000 in child support while a court process took shape. That figure, she explains, was framed as a starting payment rather than a final settlement.
"I pretty much said you can do it through my former lawyer, who wrote to his lawyer that he can start paying, and I also sent it to my bank account, and he didn't send anything," she said in one of the videos.
"I gave him a chance, but my child's father is savage; he didn't take it, and he completely ignored it. His lawyers are very terrible persons."
Her frustration runs through every clip. Zaunbrecher says she now works two jobs to raise Aaliyah alone, insisting her focus is on securing stability for their daughter, not on dictating how Olise lives his life.
"I'm raising our child alone while her father is partying and inviting women and doing the most and is not paying any dime for his own daughter," she said.
"Since that day, he hasn't paid anything, and he didn't call his daughter. But he said in the statement that he wanted to contact his daughter and me. That doesn't make any sense."
Her comments paint a stark contrast with Olise’s public image. On the pitch, the 22-year-old has just returned from the 2026 World Cup with France, where he delivered a tournament-best seven assists and helped Les Bleus finish fourth. Off it, recent social media clips have shown him enjoying a holiday in Turks and Caicos, the relaxed images jarred by the accusations now circling around his private life.
The dispute moves into a legal and emotional grey area that footballers know all too well: the collision between global fame and deeply personal responsibility. Zaunbrecher says the matter is now in the hands of the courts, but her decision to speak out has already dragged the story into the public arena.
Olise has not publicly responded to these latest claims. For a player whose left foot has lit up the biggest stage, the next test may not come in a stadium, but in a courtroom – and in the question of what kind of father he chooses to be.
