Lamine Yamal's Family Home Targeted in Attempted Burglary
Lamine Yamal’s family home became the scene of a frightening early‑morning incident just hours after he helped fire the National Team into the World Cup final.
At around four o’clock in Esplugues de Llobregat, private security staff watching the cameras spotted two figures in balaclavas scaling the wall of the Barça forward’s house. It was a calculated move, timed for the quietest part of the night, with the player away and celebrating one of the biggest nights of his young career.
The plan did not last long.
The moment the intruders realised they had been seen, they abandoned the attempt, jumped down and fled the area at speed, leaving no time for a direct confrontation with the guards or anyone inside the property.
The security team, hired by Lamine Yamal, immediately contacted the Mossos d'Esquadra. The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) has taken charge of the case, which is currently being treated as an attempted burglary with force.
No arrests have been reported so far, but the message is clear: as Lamine Yamal’s star rises on the pitch, the circle around him off it is tightening its lines of defence.
