Everton is reportedly preparing a bid for Manchester United striker Ethan Wheatley before the summer transfer window closes. The 20-year-old forward has featured four times for United’s first team, including three Premier League appearances in the 2023-24 season.
Wheatley has spent loan spells at Walsall, Northampton Town, and Bradford City recently. He is expected to leave Manchester United permanently this summer, with interest from Championship clubs also noted. Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly close to signing Ajax attacker Mika Godts, a player also linked with Manchester United. According to Fabrizio Romano, Godts has agreed to join the French champions this summer.
Negotiations between PSG and Ajax are ongoing, with Ajax asking for around €60 million (£51.3m) for the 21-year-old. Godts, who has represented Belgium twice, has scored 25 goals and provided 27 assists in 113 appearances for Ajax across all competitions.
He brings European experience, having played in both the Champions League and Europa League, which will add value to PSG’s attacking options.
West Ham Agrees to Sell Dan Potts to Club Brugge
West Ham United have reportedly agreed to transfer midfielder Dan Potts to Club Brugge for approximately €12 million (£10.3m). Potts, 22, is contracted with West Ham until 2029 and was expected to be key in their Championship campaign.
Journalist Mike McGrath reports that Club Brugge sees Potts as the perfect replacement for Raphael Onyedika, who is moving to Eintracht Frankfurt. Potts has made 28 appearances for West Ham across all competitions, including 22 in the Premier League, contributing one assist.
