Barcelona Defender Faces Crucial Choice as Tottenham Offers €65 Million

Bayern Munich has shown interest but can only offer around €40 million, which falls far below Barcelona’s expectations. Meanwhile, Liverpool and Chelsea remain interested but have yet to make official proposals. Chelsea had tracked Koundé since his Sevilla days.

The Decision Rests With Koundé

Barcelona feels comfortable with its defensive options, having players like Eric García, Xavi Espart, and João Cancelo expected to remain. Selling Koundé would free funds for other areas, whether central defense or attack.

Despite the financial appeal, the final choice belongs to Koundé himself. The 27-year-old reportedly feels at ease at Barcelona and recently extended his contract until 2030.
