Arsenal Revives Iconic Yellow for 2026–27 Third Kit

Arsenal have reintroduced their iconic yellow color for the first time in five years with the launch of their new third kit for the 2026–27 season.

Though Arsenal is traditionally linked with red, yellow has been a significant alternate color since the 1950s. It featured on some of their most memorable shirts in history. The yellow shade was last worn on the pitch during the 2021–22 season, after which it appeared mainly in lifestyle apparel collections. Now, under Mikel Arteta’s leadership, the team will wear this popular color again for the upcoming campaign.

More Than Just a Kit: "Arsenal State of Mind"

The new jersey comes with the tagline “Arsenal State of Mind,” emphasizing that the club represents more than football; it symbolizes a collective spirit and ambition. Expectations are soaring as Arsenal aims to build on their recent Premier League triumph by targeting European success. This fresh design embodies a forward-looking attitude and the drive to achieve even greater feats.

The kit features navy shorts and socks and is already gaining traction online. Fans can purchase it through official Arsenal and adidas channels.

“Being part of Arsenal means being part of something bigger than yourself,” said Arsenal Women forward Alessia Russo. “There’s a sense of belief, ambition and togetherness that connects everyone who loves this club. That’s what Arsenal State of Mind means to me. It’s the feeling that we’re all part of the same journey and pushing towards the same goals. We can’t wait to wear this kit and create more amazing memories with our supporters this season.”

Havertz Sets the Bar High Ahead of New Season

Kai Havertz, Arsenal's striker, has made it clear that anything less than winning trophies this year will be unacceptable.

“We want all the trophies,” Havertz stated. “That’s what we’re here for. We won the Premier League now but there’s a lot more that we can do. We have to reach another level to make that happen because we know how long the season is and how hard it is to go through all the competitions. We want to do it better again this year and make things happen again.”
He added, “I think we can, or we have to go further. You see especially other teams getting better, so we have to step up another level again. I think that’s what we’re all here for, that’s what we train for. We want to start strong and reach our goals this season again.”
