Summer 2026 Transfer Deadline Dates and Times for Premier League and Major Leagues

The summer transfer window in Europe is heading towards an exciting finish. After the World Cup, transfer activity often draws extra attention and the top clubs have already made some big moves.

Real Madrid recently acquired Ivorian winger Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig for €140 million ($161 million). Meanwhile, Morgan Rogers and Elliot Anderson became the most expensive English players ever with their transfers to Chelsea and Manchester City.

There are still plenty of transfer stories to follow before the window closes this month. Here’s a look at when the transfer deadlines fall for major leagues.

Saudi Pro League and MLS Window Closures

The Saudi Pro League transfer window extends later than Europe's main leagues, closing on October 12. Although spending has decreased, this gives players who missed out on European moves more time to transfer.

The MLS secondary transfer window runs from July 13 through September 2, designed to better sync with global football schedules.
