Ruben Amorim Rates AC Milan's Transfers Perfect 10 Before Juventus Clash
AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim gave a flawless 10 out of 10 rating to his team's summer transfer dealings as they prepare for a crucial Serie A match against Juventus. The Portuguese manager claims to have the best squad worldwide, despite some big player changes.
Strong Start to the Season
The Rossoneri have kicked off their campaign with wins over Torino and Venezia, maintaining a perfect league record. If they manage to defeat Juventus in Turin, Amorim would become only the fourth Milan coach to win his first three Serie A matches.
This upcoming game is Milan's first after the transfer window closed, following the departure of Rafael Leao. New signing Goncalo Ramos, Milan’s record signing, has started well, scoring in just his second Serie A appearance against Venezia.
Amorim Confident Despite Squad Changes
Concerns have been raised about Milan's attacking options following the exits of Alvaro Morata and Christopher Nkunku. Amorim dismissed these worries quickly:
"My players are some of the best in the world, so I won't say it's an eight or a nine. Every player we've brought in fits perfectly with our team, so I give it a 10! I have the best squad in the world."
He added that while two strikers with different styles might have helped, the squad can still adapt. He mentioned the possibility of rotating three attackers and highlighted the value of players like Christian Pulisic who offer versatility.
No Intimidation Ahead of Juventus
Juventus also began their season strongly, recording clean sheets in their wins over Frosinone and Parma. Amorim said his squad is mentally prepared for the challenge ahead:
"During pre-season we weren’t winning but already felt pressure. We rotated players and traveled a lot, yet the pressure was present. Every match is big for big clubs. Playing Juventus is a good test to see if we’ve improved since last week. It’s important to perform well away from home against a strong team and coach. I’m excited, not worried. I believe my team is ready."

Turin Showdown to Define Early Season
The clash in Turin will test both teams’ early ambitions before the international break. Amorim needs to find ways to break down Juventus’s solid defense, which has not conceded in their opening two games. A win on the road would keep Milan top of the table and strengthen Amorim’s standing as a tactician in Italy.
