RB Leipzig are accelerating their move for Matias Fernandez-Pardo as the transfer window ticks into its final days.

Sky Germany report that Die Roten Bullen have already reached an agreement on personal terms with the Belgium international, clearing a major hurdle in the deal. The next step is convincing Lille.

Leipzig have put a package worth around €32–33 million on the table, including what are described as realistic bonuses, as they look to prise the 21-year-old striker away from Ligue 1. It’s a serious offer for a player still at the start of his career, but one whose numbers hint at significant upside.

Fernandez-Pardo has produced 12 goals and 11 assists in 71 appearances for Lille, a return that underlines his blend of finishing and creativity rather than pure penalty-box poaching. For a club like Leipzig, built on developing young talent and selling at a premium, that profile fits the model almost perfectly.

And this isn’t the only attacking move they are working on.

The Bundesliga side are also closing in on a loan deal for Christopher Nkunku from AC Milan, aiming to reunite with a player who previously lit up the Red Bull Arena. If both transfers go through, Leipzig’s forward line will look very different – and far more dangerous – by the time the window slams shut.
