The plan is clear: turn the global pull of Mohamed Salah into a year-round attraction. Authorities are working to harness the fresh wave of attention, using the buzz around Trabzonspor’s new signing to extend the tourist season and stabilise hotel occupancy across all twelve months.

Trabzonspor confirmed the signing of Salah last Thursday on a free transfer, with the deal running for two seasons after his Liverpool contract expired at the end of last season. The sporting impact will come once the games begin. The economic impact, it seems, has already kicked off.
