Marcus Rashford Adds New Tattoos Marking Career Milestones

Marcus Rashford has added two more numbers to the story written on his skin. Manchester-based tattoo artist Dale McGovern revealed the forward now carries 14 and 9, joining the already familiar 39, 19 and 10 inked across his body.

Each number marks a stop in his career. Fourteen recalls his spell at Barcelona, his first move abroad, where he wore the shirt while helping the club to La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup. That chapter is now etched permanently.

Nine tells a different tale. Rashford used it at Aston Villa, then brought it back with him to Old Trafford, where it became the fourth shirt number of his Manchester United journey. Another number, another marker in a career mapped out in ink as much as in goals.

Persik Kediri step into Adidas era in deep purple

In Indonesia, Persik Kediri have lifted the lid on their new home kit for the 26-27 season, officially kicking off their partnership with Adidas. The German giant replaces DRX Wear and wastes no time putting its stamp on the East Java club.

The shirt leans into Persik’s identity: a rich, deep purple dominates. The design stays clean and sharp, with the famous Three Stripes flipped vertically down the sides of the torso in white instead of running across the shoulders. A round crew collar, perforated sleeves and a white Adidas logo keep the look crisp.

On the chest, two golden stars sit above the club crest, a nod to past triumphs, while AFG (#AthletesForGood) branding cuts across the front. Matching purple shorts and socks complete a home kit that feels simple, modern and unmistakably Persik.

V.League 2 rebrands on the sleeve

Vietnam’s second tier has chosen its moment to refresh its image. The Vietnamese First Division, V.League 2, has unveiled new rhombus-shaped sleeve badges, drawing directly from traditional festival flags – the central theme of VPF’s revamped visual identity for the country’s professional leagues.

There is a twist. For the first time in 24 years, V.League 2 will run without a title sponsor after its deal with Gold Star Beer expired and no replacement has yet been secured. The league moves forward without a name partner, but with a fresh visual stamp that has already earned widespread praise from Vietnamese fans for its sharp, modern feel.

Arsenal lock in numbers for title defence

In North London, Arsenal have set their numbers for the 26-27 campaign as they prepare to defend their Premier League crown. Kit specialist and collector @ArsenalShirt has laid out a full visual of the confirmed names and numbers on the home and goalkeeper jerseys.

The new arrivals drop straight into iconic shirts. Viktor Gyökeres takes on the storied number 14. Eberechi Eze pulls on the coveted 10. Bruno Guimarães keeps his trusted 39. At the back, Cristhian Mosquera is handed 3, Piero Hincapié gets 5 and Ezri Konsa takes 15. Christos Tzolis and Noni Madueke will wear 17 and 20, while Martin Zubimendi is assigned 36.

Between the posts, David Raya remains number 1, joined by Kepa Arrizabalaga at 13 and Illan Meslier at 30.

The core of the title-winning side stays intact: Bukayo Saka (7), captain Martin Ødegaard (8) and Declan Rice (41) all keep their familiar shirts. The number 9, though, stays vacant after summer departures, a notable empty slot in a squad otherwise brimming with options.

Two academy products, Myles Lewis-Skelly (49) and Max Dowman (56), are now officially listed with the senior group, another sign of the pathway Mikel Arteta continues to protect.

Galatasaray and Alfemo stay together

In Turkey, Galatasaray have decided continuity is the play. The club has reached an agreement to extend its shirt sponsorship with furniture brand Alfemo for the 26-27 season. Operating under the Zeren Group umbrella, Alfemo will again appear on the side panel and underarm zones of the Süper Lig giants’ domestic match shirts.

The partnership only began midway through the 25-26 campaign after a deal signed in February 2026. After weighing their options during the summer, both sides have chosen to carry on, with an official announcement from Galatasaray expected shortly.

Auckland FC carry the Waitākere mist on the road

Across the A-League, champions Auckland FC and New Balance have rolled out a striking away kit for 26-27, built around the misty drama of the Waitākere Ranges Regional Park.

The away shirt is predominantly white, cut through by fine blue piping along the seams. On the front, delicate vertical lines of blue raindrops drift downward before merging at the hem to form a silhouette of mist-covered mountaintops. It is subtle, but it lands.

The goalkeeper strip flips the palette: a navy base with contrasting white graphics. Both jerseys share a round collar and a gold A-League chest badge, a clear reminder of their status as defending champions. Inside the collar, the club’s motto – “Always Advance. Never Retreat” – sits as a quiet message to anyone who pulls it on.

The launch shoot took place at Auckland’s rugged Muriwai Beach, a fitting backdrop for a club leaning into its landscape. Both the outfield and goalkeeper versions are already on sale through the club’s channels and select retailers.

USM Alger and Macron sharpen the look

In Algeria, USM Alger and Macron have revealed home and away kits for 26-27 that build on their existing partnership with a clean, tailored feel.

The home shirt goes bold in red, layered with subtle tonal textures in the fabric. Black trims the collar and cuffs, each edged with thin red piping. The USMA crest, topped by three stars, sits on the chest opposite black Macron Hero logos on the right side and shoulders. Groupe Serport and realme branding stretch across the centre, anchoring the design.

The away kit flips to a white base, broken by thin red and black pinstripes running vertically down the front. The rounded collar and cuffs mirror the home shirt with two-tone black and red details, while solid black logos tie the whole look together.

Cartagena finally unveil their stripes

In Spain, patience has paid off for FC Cartagena. After weeks of manufacturing and administrative delays that forced the club to use a plain grey catalog kit in pre-season, the official 26-27 home shirt with Macron has finally been unveiled.

True to “La Albinegra” tradition, the jersey carries black and white vertical stripes, this time thinner and more numerous. A subtle dot pattern inside the black stripes adds depth. Magenta-pink flashes on the crewneck collar, sleeve cuffs and Macron Hero branding inject a modern edge into a classic base.

Local telecoms company Telecartagena steps in as the new primary shirt sponsor, with Inmohogares taking the sleeve spot. Black shorts and socks complete a kit that restores Cartagena’s identity after a colourless pre-season.

Highlanders FC mark 100 years in style

In Zimbabwe, Highlanders FC have chosen to celebrate their centenary with a full collection rather than a single shirt. The Bulawayo giants, working with Looks Sportswear, have launched the Bosso @100 range for the 26-27 season, marking 100 years since the club’s founding in 1926.

The home kit keeps the club’s classic black and white vertical stripes but fractures them with jagged geometric breaks across the upper chest and bottom hem. A black V-neck and black sleeve cuffs frame the chaos neatly.

Alongside it, an all-black alternate jersey leans on elegance, with a white polo collar and matching cuff trim. A third option arrives in white, cut through by bold red side panels and fiery gradient shoulder stripes, giving the set a more aggressive edge.

Every shirt in the centenary collection carries a dedicated anniversary crest placed centrally between the Looks logo and the traditional Highlanders shield. Energy company Sakunda dominates the front of all three, as Bosso step into their second century with their identity not just intact, but amplified.
