Inter Milan's Pursuit of Curtis Jones Grows Stronger

Inter Milan’s pursuit of Curtis Jones is starting to open up.

The Italian champions are edging closer to creating space in midfield, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Lazio have approached Inter for Davide Frattesi. If that move develops, it could be the key that unlocks Jones’s switch from Liverpool to San Siro.

Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari of TV Dello Sport backs up that picture. He reports that Inter have never dropped their interest in Jones – and that the feeling is mutual. The 23-year-old remains the Nerazzurri’s first-choice target for the middle of the pitch, with the club ready to go back to the table with Liverpool once outgoing deals, including a possible Frattesi exit, move forward.

Crucially, the player is already on board. Jones has given his approval to the transfer and wants the move, leaving negotiations between Inter and Liverpool as the final hurdle to clear.
