Galatasaray Rejects €130m Al-Hilal Bid for Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray have turned down a staggering €130m offer from Al-Hilal for Victor Osimhen, making it clear the Nigerian striker is simply not for sale this summer.

The Saudi Pro League club lodged the huge verbal proposal on Wednesday via intermediaries, pushing hard to lure one of European football’s most explosive forwards to Riyadh. The answer from Istanbul was blunt. No talks. No negotiations. No opening.

According to Sky Sports, Galatasaray informed Al-Hilal that they have no intention of entertaining any deal for Osimhen in this window, regardless of the size of the bid.

The stance underlines just how central the 25-year-old has become to the Turkish champions. Since arriving from Napoli on an initial loan in 2024, Osimhen has ripped through defences, scoring 59 goals in 74 games and driving Galatasaray’s domestic dominance. His impact forced the club to break the Turkish transfer record last summer, paying €75m to make the move permanent.

Al-Hilal know his value. They have chased Osimhen before and came close to landing him prior to his switch to Istanbul. That near-miss has not dulled their interest; it has sharpened it.

This time, they came with money that would turn most heads in Europe. It still wasn’t enough.

The Saudi side are reshaping their attack with one eye on a serious Pro League title push in the 2026/27 season after finishing just two points behind champions Al-Nassr last term. The plan is clear: refresh the forward line now, dominate later.

Darwin Nunez is expected to leave in the coming days, clearing space and wages for a marquee striker. Osimhen sits at the top of that wishlist, the statement signing to spearhead their next cycle.

Al-Hilal have already shown they are willing to spend big. A £60m deal for Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United is done, while Karim Benzema and Malcolm remain in place as heavyweight attacking options. Add Osimhen to that mix and the front line would look terrifying on paper.

But Galatasaray are not playing along. For now, the Turkish champions are building their future around Osimhen, not cashing in on him.

Al-Hilal have made their move. The question is whether they walk away, or come back with something even bigger.
