Crystal Palace Signs Axel Disasi on Loan from Chelsea

Crystal Palace have landed Axel Disasi on loan from Chelsea for the 2026-27 season, adding serious weight to Pierre Sage’s defensive rebuild.

The 28-year-old arrives with Premier League miles already on the clock. Signed by Chelsea in 2023, Disasi has since been sent out to Aston Villa and West Ham, racking up 58 top-flight appearances across the three clubs and earning five senior caps for France along the way. Disasi made no attempt to hide his enthusiasm about the move.

"I'm very happy," he said. "The club has been going in a very good direction, so I think it was the right place for me to keep going. I know that it's very tough to play against Palace at Selhurst Park - so I'm looking forward to being on the other side now."
