Chelsea Sets £120m Transfer Deadline for Enzo Fernandez Amid Manchester City Interest

Chelsea's Firm Deadline

Chelsea has set a strict deadline of Friday 5 p.m. BST (12 p.m. ET) for Manchester City to make an offer matching their £120 million valuation for Fernandez. If City fails to meet this, Chelsea will keep him for the rest of the transfer window. This stance is openly known by Fernandez and his representatives, who have been aware since May of his asking price.

Why Man City Wants Fernandez

Enzo Maresca, who left Chelsea to take over as Pep Guardiola’s successor at Man City, values Fernandez highly. The midfielder was one of Maresca’s trusted players at Stamford Bridge.
