Carlos Baleba Shares Emotional Goodbye to Brighton After Manchester United Transfer
Midfielder Carlos Baleba has officially completed his transfer from Brighton & Hove Albion to Manchester United. Following the announcement on Tuesday, the 22-year-old shared a heartfelt message expressing gratitude towards Brighton’s fans and staff as he prepares for his new journey at Old Trafford.
Transfer Completion and Reflection
Baleba finalized his move to Manchester United on Tuesday afternoon. Soon after, he posted a classy farewell message on social media along with a highlight reel showcasing his time at Brighton. The message reflected his appreciation for the club that introduced him to English football.
Emotional Message to Brighton
On Instagram, Baleba opened up about his experience since arriving at Brighton:
I came here at 19 with little English and no idea what this club would become to me. Brighton only asked me to be myself. The staff who make the club run so well. The teammates who took the time to understand me, on the pitch and off it. The nights at the Amex when I heard my name from that stand always made me feel at home.
Brighton’s Lasting Impact
The midfielder made it clear that Brighton will remain a significant part of his career. He closed his tribute by thanking everyone who supported his rapid growth:
To all of the fans, staff and my teammates. You looked after me and for that I will hold you all close to my heart. Wherever I play, this club is in how I play. Good luck Seagulls.
Next Steps at Manchester United
Baleba is set to start adjusting to life at Manchester United as the squad prepares for upcoming matches. Fans may have to wait before seeing him on the pitch, with his debut against Ipswich Town this weekend still uncertain depending on his fitness.
