Barcelona are preparing to wave goodbye to one of La Masia’s most intriguing young midfielders. Tommy Marques, just 19 and tipped for a bigger role not long ago, is leaving on a permanent deal to Braga after the Portuguese club struck an agreement worth up to €12 million.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has already stamped the move with his familiar “Here we go”, and the details back it up. Barcelona will receive €10 million guaranteed, with a further €2 million tied to performance-related add-ons.
