Arsenal Renew Pursuit of Brazilian Wonderkid Endrick
Arsenal have gone back to Real Madrid over Endrick, testing the Spanish giants’ resolve as uncertainty lingers over their own attacking plans.
The Premier League champions have made fresh contact with Madrid’s hierarchy this week to ask again about the Brazilian forward’s situation, with the club actively searching for firepower in the final third ahead of the expected departure of Gabriel Martinelli.
Endrick’s name has barely left the Madrid news cycle all summer. The 20-year-old returned to Valdebebas after an impressive loan spell at Lyon, sparking immediate debate inside and outside the club over whether another temporary move would follow.
For a while, that seemed possible. A second loan was openly discussed as a way to continue his development and guarantee minutes away from the pressure of the Bernabéu.
Then José Mourinho shut the door. The Real Madrid boss publicly moved to calm the noise, insisting the young striker would not be leaving before the transfer window closes. His stance looked decisive. The rumours didn’t care.
Interest has kept circling, and now Arsenal are back at the table.
According to TEAMtalk, Real Madrid sources have confirmed that Arsenal have renewed their pursuit of Endrick, again enquiring about the forward often described as a “Brazilian wonderkid”. It is not the first time the London club have tried to prise him away from Spain.
During previous negotiations between the two clubs over a possible deal involving Vinícius Jr, Arsenal also raised Endrick’s name, asking about his availability and long-term status in Madrid’s plans. Those conversations went nowhere at the time, but they clearly left a mark in north London.
The latest approach underlines that Arsenal have not abandoned the idea of building their attack around the former Palmeiras prodigy. They see an opportunity; Madrid insist he stays.
One side will eventually have to blink.
