Andrea Pinamonti Joins Lazio on Loan Deal
Andrea Pinamonti is finally on his way to Rome.
After days of hints, leaks and half-confirmations, Lazio and Sassuolo have reached a full agreement for the striker’s move to the capital, clearing the last obstacle that kept the deal on hold.
Deal Done: Loan with Option to Buy
Pinamonti, who had long given his approval to the transfer, will join the Biancocelesti on loan with an option to buy. The green light from Sassuolo arrived on Tuesday, and the Italian media quickly moved in step.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano sealed the story with his trademark “Here We Go”, while Lazio insider Damiano Er Faina also labelled the move a done deal. The message from all sides is the same: Pinamonti is Lazio-bound.
The Numbers: Slightly Different Versions, Same Outcome
The figures around the operation tell a familiar transfer-window story: same move, different readings.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio estimates the overall cost at around €12 million, including fixed fees and add-ons. Alfredo Pedullà offers a slightly lower projection, reporting that Lazio will pay just over €10 million in total, with a loan fee already exceeding €3 million.
Local outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi aligns with that idea of a sizeable loan payment, but holds back on a definitive total. For them, the final bill will only be clear once bonuses tied to sporting objectives kick in—or fail to.
What It Means for Lazio
The agreement gives Lazio a new option up front and the flexibility of an initial loan rather than an immediate permanent outlay. The club gets its man, Sassuolo secure a structured deal, and Pinamonti now faces the challenge that has been waiting for him in Rome for weeks.
