Amankwah Forson Joins Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Loan
Amankwah Forson will test himself on a new stage this season, with the Norwich City midfielder joining Hapoel Be'er Sheva on a season-long loan.
The 23-year-old only arrived at Carrow Road in 2024, signing a four-year deal after Norwich prised him away from Austrian side RB Salzburg. Now his next step takes him into European competition and the heat of Israeli football.
Forson, a Ghana international, has become a regular presence in Norwich’s squad, making 44 appearances in all competitions and scoring four goals for the Canaries. His energy and versatility in midfield made him a useful option, but this move offers the chance for more responsibility and a different kind of spotlight.
Hapoel Be'er Sheva
Hapoel Be'er Sheva are no small platform. The six-time Israeli champions have reached the league phase of this season’s Europa League, where they will line up against Juventus, AFC Bournemouth and Besiktas. It is a demanding group and a sharp test for any player wanting to prove he belongs at that level.
For Forson, it is a loan that carries clear stakes: regular minutes, European nights, and the chance to return to Norwich sharper, tougher and harder to ignore.
