While the search for a left-back drags on, United’s business in midfield is already reshaping Michael Carrick’s squad. Carlos Baleba was officially unveiled as a Red on Tuesday evening, even though an ankle ligament injury picked up in pre-season will delay his debut. He joins Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans in a rebuilt engine room designed to change the team’s rhythm and control this campaign.
