The 20-year-old joined Madrid in the summer of 2024 amid huge expectations as one of South America's brightest talents but has struggled to earn regular playing time. Under both Carlo Ancelotti and Xabi Alonso, Endrick failed to secure a consistent spot.
His loan spell at Lyon during the latter half of the 2025–26 season saw him shine, netting eight goals and providing eight assists across 21 games. Interest in Endrick has come from several countries. Aston Villa and Italian Serie A club AS Roma have shown interest in taking him on loan, following his strong displays in France. Real Madrid still regard him as a valuable asset they want to protect from losing value.
To make the loan feasible, Madrid is reportedly willing to cover part of Endrick's substantial salary, which exceeds €5 million ($5.75 million) annually.
SPORT has named Villa as the most likely landing spot. In Spain, reports indicate that La Liga sides Real Sociedad, Villarreal, and Real Betis have all enquired about a loan deal. Endrick himself prefers a club competing in European tournaments.

At just 20 years old, Endrick has experienced three managerial regimes at Madrid and gone from being a highly anticipated star to somewhat overlooked within two years. The club welcomed Diomande, who is even younger, as their new promising prospect this summer.
Endrick was once compared to Vinícius Júnior, Karim Benzema, and even Pelé. Although his market value dropped after his near €60 million ($69 million) transfer, his stint at Lyon proved he remains a significant talent.
He is known for his explosive speed, low center of gravity, and clinical finishing—traits that stood out during his early days at Palmeiras and justified Madrid’s investment. Transitioning to one of the world’s biggest clubs hasn’t been easy, but that doesn’t label him a failure.

He’s very talented, very gifted, but sometimes he can be a bit too selfish on the pitch. Still, he knows he has huge qualities. He needs the right environment to grow because this kid is a diamond. Given his skills, I’d love to see him play for Arsenal."
